We read every case before we take a payment. If the test you asked for will not answer your question, we tell you before you spend money.
Not of the science — of the answer. A DNA test is rarely a piece of admin. It is usually a question somebody has carried for years and finally decided to ask out loud. A father who wants to be certain before he signs. A woman putting a name on a birth certificate. Two adults who suspect they are related and have never been told.
The industry mostly does not treat it that way. The common experience is a checkout page, a kit in the post, silence for three weeks, and then a PDF. Money first, questions never. If the test you ordered was the wrong one, you find that out at the end.
We built Divine DNA to run the other way round. We read every case before we take a payment. If the test you have asked for will not answer the question you are actually asking, we tell you before you spend anything — even when that means a smaller sale, or none at all.
Divine DNA was born from a simple conviction: every person has a right to know their true family.
That belief took shape for me through personal scares. Twice I was told I might be a father, and twice it turned out not to be true. I learned how deeply uncertainty can shake your peace of mind. Later, seeing stories of men who raised children for decades before discovering they weren’t biologically related drove it home. Doubt can make people hold back love — not out of coldness, but out of fear.
That’s why we do this. At Divine DNA, we believe the truth is in the blood. Whether it’s a child, a parent, a grandmother or grandfather, an aunt or uncle, a sibling or a more distant relative, clear answers help families move forward with confidence and peace.

Every case is read by a person. We check that the test matches the question, that the right participants are listed, and that a legal case is set up as a legal case. Only then do we release a quote. This is the whole reason we exist and we will not automate it away.
Each adult being tested signs their own consent. Nobody consents on another adult's behalf. It is the law's expectation, and it also means you find out in the first 48 hours if someone will not take part — before you have paid.
We will explain what a report says and how the process worked. We will not tell you what to do about it, and we will not give legal advice. When you need a lawyer, we say so plainly rather than guessing on your behalf.
Most of our competitors do not. If you are about to spend several hundred dollars on the most personal question in your life, you should be able to speak to a person first. Call any time. If we cannot pick up we return every message, usually the same working day.
Anyone can mail you a swab. What makes a result meaningful is where it is analysed, who handled it, and whether the paperwork survives a courtroom.
All relationship testing is analysed at a laboratory accredited by AABB for Relationship Testing Activities — the standard U.S. courts and immigration authorities recognise.
On legal cases a trained collector verifies photo identification, witnesses the collection, and seals your specimens in tamper-evident packaging. Every transfer is recorded. That record is what makes the report admissible.
Documents you upload are stored privately and deleted on a schedule after your case closes. Results are released to your case file, never emailed as an attachment. Samples are destroyed by the laboratory 60 days after an informational result and 180 days after a legal one — the full terms are on our Privacy Policy.
Open a case in a few minutes, or call and talk it through first. Either way, nothing is charged until you have seen your quote and approved it.
