What we have built for, where we fall short, and how to tell us.
People come to this site at difficult moments in their lives. It should not also be difficult to use. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA, and where we fall short we would rather hear about it than not know.
Pages are built as plain HTML, so the words are in the page and can be read by a screen reader without waiting for scripts. Every form field has a visible label. The whole site can be operated from the keyboard, and the element you are on shows a visible outline. Text resizes to 200% without losing content. Colour is never the only way information is given, and text contrast has been checked against the AA threshold. Photographs on the test pages are illustrative and captioned as such.
We have not yet commissioned a formal third-party accessibility audit, so this statement is based on our own testing rather than an independent assessment. The case-opening form is long by necessity and needs JavaScript to calculate your estimate and to submit. Some documents supplied by the laboratory are PDFs we did not produce and cannot guarantee are fully tagged.
You never have to use it. Call (678) 492-5201 and we will open your case with you on the phone, take everything down ourselves, and read anything you need read aloud. That is not a lesser service — it is how a good number of our cases start anyway.
Email info@divinednalab.com or call the number above. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will come back to you. If a fix will take time we will say so and offer another way to do the same thing in the meantime.
