What we hold, who ever sees it, and how long anything is kept.
We collect only what is needed to run your case. Your result is shown to you and to nobody else. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shares nothing with advertisers.
When you open a case we ask for your name, email address, phone number and state; the relationship you want tested; the name and collection city of each person being tested; and an email address for each adult participant, because each adult being tested consents for themselves and we may need to contact them directly.
If you contact us without opening a case, we keep only what you send us.
Hearing from us. If you open a case or ask us a question, we may occasionally email you about Divine DNA's own services and offers. Every such email has a way to stop, and we honor it at once. We never email the other people on a case for this purpose, and we never share your address with anyone else to do so.
Identification documents and card numbers. We do not ask for either by email or through a contact form, and you should treat any message that does as not coming from us. Payment is taken inside your own case file. For a legal test you show your photo ID in person to the collector — nothing is sent to us and we do not keep a copy.
The people at Divine DNA working on your case, and the laboratory that performs the analysis. That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, insurers or employers.
A partner who referred you never sees your result. If you arrived through a referral code, that partner can see that a case exists and that it was referred by them. They cannot see the result, and neither can a partner who collected your samples.
The report is released to the person who opened the case, through their own case file. We do not email reports to anyone else, and we will not discuss a case with a person who is not on it — including a participant's family member — without that person's own authorization.
Samples are destroyed by the laboratory 60 days after an informational result is released, and 180 days after a legal result is released. Non-standard samples follow the 60-day rule.
If you want your samples destroyed sooner, the laboratory requires a notarized letter sent to Attn: General Counsel, 3655 Research Road, MSC3ARP, Las Cruces, NM 88003. We would rather tell you that up front than have you discover it later. Call us and we will help you word it.
Form submissions — what you typed, and the IP address it came from — are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically. Nothing is kept indefinitely by accident.
If your enquiry became a case, the case record is kept while the case is open and afterwards for as long as we may need to answer a question about a report we issued. Samples themselves follow the laboratory's schedule above, which is separate and shorter.
We set no cookies and we run no analytics, advertising pixels or session recording. If you arrive through a partner's referral link, the code is held in your browser for that visit only and is gone when you close the tab. The page fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives the IP address your browser connects from; nothing else about your visit is shared with anyone.
When you send us a form, we record the IP address it came from — a case request, a message, a case-link request or a collection-site enquiry. It is stored with what you wrote, for one reason: if a form is used for spam or abuse we need to see where it came from and block it. We do not use it to build a profile of you, we do not look it up against anything, and we do not share it.
A person under 18 can never consent to testing for themselves. A parent or legal guardian authorizes it and must be present at collection. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Call (678) 492-5201 or email info@divinednalab.com and ask. We will tell you what is on your case, correct anything wrong, and explain exactly what can and cannot be deleted while a case is open.
